Hey! I'm Joe Farago, a 3D Generalist, Story Artist, and Filmmaker. I graduated in 2025 with a BFA in 2D Animation at the School of Visual Arts. During my time at SVA, I directed multiple mixed-media horror short films that have earned several awards at various festivals.

Originally from Massachusetts, my lifelong love of spooky, Halloween-inspired media shapes much of my creative work. I’m passionate about blending atmospheric visuals, eerie storytelling, and multimedia elements to build immersive, unsettling worlds. My films and projects are often influenced by fall-themed works like Over The Garden Wall, with earthy palettes, gothic undertones, and cryptic narratives.

In addition to my work in 2D/3D Art, I’m also skilled in music theory and often spend my evenings crafting goofy Halloween songs. I’m aiming to continue developing my voice as a visual storyteller and 3D artist, with the goal of joining studios to create offbeat, horror-tinged stories for animation and games.
