Joe Farago is a student currently working towards a BFA animation degree at the School of Visual Arts with an expected graduation on May 2025. In his time there, he has won the audience choice award at the 2023 undies and is also currently directing a group film. Before starting at SVA, Joe lived in Massachusetts, which has pioneered his lifelong obsession with spooky Halloween media.

While he is currently focusing on storyboarding and 2D animation, he is also very proficient in 3D. Joe tries to utilize his multi media skills as much as possible in his films to further develop the visuals and horror elements. Joe is heavily inspired by fall themed works such as “Over The Garden Wall”. The earthy colors and gothic themes show an impact in all of his films. Joe is also skilled in music theory and often spends his evenings crafting goofy Halloween songs. He plans to use his cryptic visual storytelling to work as a storyboard artist at studios like Adult Swim.
